I could not be happier. The screen is the perfect size for backyard movie night and the stand sits up high enough for people to easily see even when people are sitting in front of you. Set up was a breeze and all of the poles are labeled with letters to make it easy. The metal buttons that snap everything together are well made and durable. All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this screen. It is well made and packs up easily. If you are like me and want to make sure your screen comes with a stand then this is the one to buy without a doubt.
We had a huge thunderstorm / insane winds roll through a couple hours after we sat this up for a backyard boil and movie night. I wouldn't suggest leaving it up through a storm but it was unexpected and was over within half hour. The Wind started to blow it over but we were able to set it straight and tack it back down into the ground, otherwise it weathered through (haha see what I did there). We had such a great time watching movies in the backyard. We can't wait for next time.
I bought this screen for a camping trip with the family. As the NBA finals were starting and my mother-in-law is a HUGE LeBron fan, she (and most everyone else) wanted to see the games. I paired this with a BenQ short throw projector and my Laptop/Slingbox to get signal in the wilderness. The first time that I set up the screen, it took me about 25 min by myself. The frame components are well-marked and the assembly instructions are sewn inside the case so you cannot lose them. Instructions are clear. Each frame piece has its own elastic holder in the case, so the nothings bounces around. Also, the screen itself has its own bag for protection and comes with clips already sown into the screen edges. You simply clip the screen to the frame. We used the screen three times that week and I projected from both the front and the back. Rear projection is very simple, as the black backing peels off from velcro strips and folds down on the reverse of the screen. Front projection is an easier tear-down, though as you do not have to reapply the backing. The viewing was crystal clear in both directions. Putting the screen away - I did that 3x as well - was still pretty easy after the first time. First time in the dark, it will take some time. And unclipping the screen takes two people. However, by the 3rd time, we had the process down and it took about 12-15 to set up and 15-20 to take down. Unit comes with pegs for the feet and guide wires with stakes. These stakes are pretty flimsy and I have already replaced them with sturdier tent pegs. All in all, one of my best buys. We continue to use it at home in the backyard for movies and other sporting events.
This screen is our go-to for outdoor movies. We throw a yearly Halloween party and we use this screen to project a movie for everyone to gather and watch. The imagine is clean (but this also heavily depends on the quality of your projector), it’s super easy to put together and break down but I do recommend having at least 2 people for this, and the storage bag it comes with makes it super convenient to store after use.
This is a great screen! Be aware, it is massive. Like really huge, but it is surprisingly easy to use. We bought this to show movies outside on our newly remodeled pool deck. This was totally worth every penny. It is well made, well packaged and easy to put together. The image was fantastic with our epson projector. Highly recommend and will be using often this summer.
